The Chapel Hill -Carrboro Holiday Parade Presented by The Chapel Hill News Saturday, December 3, 2005 - 10am-12 noon NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS (Application Deadline November 23, 2005) Contact: Paul Dunlop parade@evincemanagement.com or call (919-969-9814) The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 12:00 noon. Presented by your hometown newspaper, The Chapel Hill News, the parade this year promises to be a celebration of our community spirit. We encourage all entries to have a holiday theme and awards will be given for Best of Parade, Most Original, Best Holiday Theme, Most Creative, Best Scout Troop. Our winners put a lot of thought and creativity in their entries and that is what makes this holiday parade so special! New in 2005 HOLIDAY LANE !!! Holiday Lane is a short section of the Parade Route located directly in front to the Chapel Hill News, where performers, bands, and floats make a brief performance. MC Personality to appear live to officially kick-off the Parade and make announcements of entertainment & sponsors |
