Kingsdown Events 2004
Whimisical Winter Wonderland

In 2004, Evince produced two large scale events on behalf on Kingsdown, celebrating their centennial year of business.

The holiday celebration captured the imagination of all who attened with a whimsical winter wonderland theme complete with life-sized polar bears and freshly-fallen snow.


Each table boasted white satin linens with a silver filigree overlay. All of the tables also included an ice sculpture in the shape of an iceburg with the company logo displayed inside.

Evince Management Agency created the ambiance of the room with multiple lighting schemes including uplighting, projections of snowflakes, and a soft mixtures of icy blues and pinks.



The event was catered by Culinary Visions of Greensboro and featured four food serving stations which offered guests a varied selection of ethinic and seasonal cuisine.

The event included a salad station, beverage station, fajita station, pasta station, carving station and dessert bar.

Kingsdown Centennial Celebration

In addition to the "Whimisical Winter Wonderland", Evince also produced a three day centennial celebration in May 2004 for Kingsdown's 700+ employees.

The event took place at the Mebane Arts Center in Mebane, North Carolina featuring a weekend of activities including a golf tournamanet, a softball tournament, a formal event on Friday and a larger celebration on Saturday.


The evening events culminated with two bands providing live entertainmant and a Down East Bar-B-Que buffet-style dinner. The evening ended with a bang as Kingsdown employees were treated to a fireworks display followed with a late night with live music and dancing.



 




The all day event on Saturday featured an afternoon of games complete with an Outdoor Video Arcade, Giant Tricycle races and other team building activities. A carribean-style cookout was provided for Kingdown's guests accompanied with Carribean music and decorations.





Evince management offered concierge service for the 700+ Kingsdown employees who were flown in from five different locations from across the Southeast.
